How to be a Healthy Vegetarian

- Have you recently decided to become a vegetarian, but aren’t sure what to eat?

- Have you been a vegetarian for awhile, but realize that you’ve become a junk food vegetarian?

- Have you gained weight since becoming vegetarian?

- Or perhaps you would like to add more vegetarian food to your diet.

This workshop will teach you how to eat a healthy and delicious vegetarian diet without resorting to junk food or gaining weight.

Liz Vequist is a vegetarian and Holistic Health Counselor who is passionate about sharing her passion for yummy and delicious healthy whole foods.

The spring cleanse with Watertown Holistic Health helped jumpstart my resolve to live more healthy.  With Liz Vequist leading the cleanse and the support of the other cleansers, I was able to introduce healthier food items into my diet.  My moods stabilized, I feel wonderful, and I am now eating more of a variety of whole grains and vegetables.  Before my diet was mostly meats, cheeses, and other salty foods.  Now I actually crave healthy food after eating it for the duration of the cleanse.  I couldn't be happier with my decision to do the spring cleanse!

Liz Vequist's shiatsu massage workshop was, quite simply, a perfect experience. I came unsure of what to expect, and left with a feeling of deep satisfaction and with a skill that I will have, and use, for the rest of my life. The format of the workshop was very conducive to learning: we worked in partners, and received continual feedback from one another and from Liz. Despite being a group of strangers, the atmosphere was truly wonderful. There was a lot of warmth and openness, which was enabled by Liz's own warmth and openness.

Liz did not try to cram too much into the workshop's two hour duration. Rather, she taught us several of the most important techniques, moving from the basic to the more complex. Everything followed logically and easily from what had come before and, before any of us knew it, the two hours were up! I eagerly await the next workshop.
